For this #ThrowbackThursday, we’re reminiscing about an unforgettable night last fall when SIP & SHUCK celebrated its 10th anniversary in style. Hosted at The Deck, Driftwood Kitchen, and The Bungalows at Pacific Edge Hotel, it was a perfect evening filled with oysters, champagne, and stunning ocean views. Thanks to Chef Rainer Schwarz’s incredible dishes and the chance to support a cause so close to our hearts—CASA of Orange County—it was a night of both indulgence and giving back. VIPs were treated to the finest, but the best part was knowing every bite and sip was making a difference for kids who need it most. How do you design a home that feels like it belongs to the land? For architect Horst Noppenberger, the answer lies in his stunning Irvine Cove residence. Set in Laguna Beach, this 6,500 sq ft home wraps around a central courtyard where olive trees and a linear pool seem to pull the Pacific into the property. The C-shaped layout captures soft, late-afternoon light, while slatted wood screens balance privacy with sweeping ocean views. The master suite is a sanctuary, with warm wood textures and an indoor-outdoor shower, while the lower level surprises with a lounge, bar, and exercise room.
